Mark has coordinated and managed the Foundation’s communication activities in various capacities since 2000. Before his current position at SUN, he served as Head of Communications for the Foundation’s former institutes, IZA and briq. Alongside his work in Bonn, he is employed at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), where he leads the communication activities of the global IZA@LISER research network.
He holds an MBA in Communication & Leadership from Quadriga University Berlin and an MA in American Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to his long-standing tenure at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics, he worked for a global strategy and communications consulting firm in Washington, D.C., while studying International Business and Trade at American University.
